Two more children died of measles in Lahore on Saturday, raising the death toll to 174.
According to the Punjab Health Department, four-year-old Hanzala from Toba Tek Singh, and 11-month-old Imran from Kasur, were admitted to a hospital a few days ago, but they could not survive.
At least 174 children have fallen victim to the disease in Punjab.
Sources revealed that about 166 new cases of measles were reported in Punjab within 24 hours while the total number of affectees has mounted to 19,103.
Lahore, the provincial capital, has been affected the most where 49 new cases have been confirmed.
No one in this PML N arrangement has time to look at this tragedy.May be till a child of Raiwind residents dies nothing will happen.
