After being denied VIP protocol by the administration of Allama Iqbal International Airport, former premier and vice chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Yousaf Raza Gilani had to walk on foot at least half a kilometer to reach the airport lounge.
Gilani reached airport from Rawalpindi on Saturday through PIA’s ATR aircraft. The airport administration refused to give protocol to the former premier his entourage demanded it. He had to walk on foot over half a kilometer to reach the airport lounge.
On reaching the lounge, Gilani conveyed his anger at the airport management to officials.
