Lahore police on Thursday arrested 300 suspects from across the city to avert any untoward incident on Shab Baraat.
A police source said the police conducted an operation in Model Town, Burki, Sattukatla, Kot Lakhpat, DHA, Faisal Town, Naulakha. He said further they have arrested more than 300 suspects from across the city. Police has raided several hotels and arrested people who failed to provide identify. He said the police have also raided katchi abadis and interrogated several people. He said boys’ hostels have also been raided by the police. He said the police officials have been told to round up those who have no CNICs and other documents. The source said further the deputy inspector general (operations) had ordered the police to keep a vigilant eye on suspects.
