Fire erupts at PIC

The fire which broke out at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) early Thursday morning has been brought under control after hectic efforts.
According to details, fire broke out at the PIC’s Angiography Ward due to short circuiting.
The hospital administration had to shift as many as 50 patients to other wards of the hospital when the Angiography Ward was filled with smoke.
Firefighters and rescue teams brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of one hour. The hospital administration has shifted most of the patients to the hospital’s Emergency Ward.
