Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Tahir Shahbaz on Thursday said the authority will chalk out a comprehensive plan for the development of the capital.
Under the plan, the authority would ensure provision of basic civic amenities in light of useful suggestions from the residents, the chairman said while inaugurating phase-wise Clean and Green Islamabad campaign at Sector G-6.
He said that the campaign has entered into its last phase and the positive results were achieved due to keen interest of concerned officials of the authority and citizens as well.
Shahbaz said during the campaign the authority tried to develop coordination and interaction with the residents of the capital city, which have played vital role in resolving basic issues.
The chairman said that most of the problems including sanitation, sewerage system, repair maintenance of roads and footpaths, removal of shrubs and environment have been resolved through a systematic mechanism within available resources.
Shahbaz directed officials of the authority to remain present in camp office in Sector G-6 and address the problems of people. Shahbaz also met residents and a delegation of traders’ community of Markaz G-6 and listen their problems. The traders assured him of their full support and cooperation for successful campaign.
