Shahbaz seeks report about chained woman, children

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sought a complete report into the recovery of a chained woman and her three children from a hotel’s room in Lahore.
According to reports, Faisal Town police station officials have informed that CIA Sub-Inspector Zahiruddin Babar had confined the former wife and three children of his friend Ali Imran in a room of the hotel for 18 days.
After getting report, the police station concerned raided the hotel and recovered confined Gulshan and her three children, Sana, Iqra and Jahanzeb from Room No-302 and arrested Babar’s aide, constable and former husband of the woman.
Sana told the media that her father had divorced her mother but he was trying to patch-up with her for property.
“My mother was not ready for the reconciliation or patch-up with ex-husband so the CIA sub-inspector confined her with us in room of hotel 18 days ago for pressuring further,” added Sana.
Shahbaz had taken notice of the incident and demanded complete report from the police.
Police have vowed that they would arrest CIA’s Sub-Inspector Zahiruddin Babar without any further delay.
