Rangers arrest 29 suspects

The Sindh Rangers continued their targeted operations in the city, arresting as many as 29 suspected criminals on Monday.
Early morning operations were conducted in many areas of the city, including Northern Bypass, Khuda Ki Basti, Dalmia, Landhi 89, Mehran Town, Korangi, Saad Town and Model Colony. At least 34 weapons were recovered from the suspects’ possession.
The operations were part of an ongoing attempt to curb violence in the city, which affected up to 3,000 people in 2012, according to media reports.
TARGET KILLER ARRESTED: City police have arrested Noman Ali, an alleged target killer, in an operation in Rizvia Society on Monday.
Police said that Ali belonged to Lyari gang war and was involved in at least 10 murders. A pistol has also been recovered from his possession.
