Meharullah Magsi, a relative of former Balochistan governor Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi, was recovered along with his driver and guard on Tuesday.
The three were kidnapped from Dasht area when Magsi was heading to Quetta from Jhal Magsi to receive the body of his daughter, Sonam Magsi, who lost her life in Quetta bus bomb blast incident.
Mastung Deputy Commissioner Meshrab Shah said an operation was launched for the recovery of Magsi, his driver and guard while tribal nobles were also contacted in this regard.
He said kidnappers fled after leaving hostages at a deserted area of Dasht late in the night.
