The Concerned Citizens of Pakistan (CCP) strongly condemn the barbaric terrorist attacks in Quetta which have resulted in the deaths so many precious and innocent Pakistanis. CCP expresses profound grief at the loss of 14 women students, DC Mansur Khan, four nurses and four security personnel and at the injuries received by scores of other citizens. Prior to this heinous episode, the destruction of Ziarat Residency, the final abode of Quaid-e Azam, father of our nation, was also a deeply shocking act of terror which sent a clear message to Pakistan about the intentions of the enemies of the state. CCP strongly demands action against these miscreants who are trying to destroy Pakistan. There is an urgent need for the political leadership and the military to be on the same page with regards to how to deal with the menace of terrorism in Pakistan.
