Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has pointed out differences in budget speech from the finance minister and actual measures in the budget.
“There is a difference between the Finance Minister Budget speech and the initiatives taken in this budget,” Qureshi said while speaking in the budget session on Monday.
The debate on the budgetary proposals for next fiscal year was resumed in the national assembly on Monday morning.
Following the resumption of the session, PTI’s deputy parliamentary leader pointed out the difference in the speech and actual budget.
Shah also stressed upon the need for taking real measures against the electricity theft.
“It is need of the hour to take practical measures against the electricity theft‚ line losses‚ mismanagement by the DISCOs and recovery of bills to control the monster of electricity crisis,” he added.
In previous session of the assembly, PTI and its ally party in Khyber Pakthoonkhwa, Jamaat e Islami, had walked out of the session over imposition of GST in the budget.
You are absolutely right Sir. Budget was prapared simultaniously with the most infamous rigging plan which has now become a permanent tag on PML N.
wt differences????? should b pointed out clearly. differences r everywhere. in kpk, pti led gov did not show the income but show lavish spending to show the people the brighter side. After 18 amendment its the federal govt who has to collect the major portion of income & giv it 2 provinces. so it is obvious that they hav to impose taxes.
