Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said that best management would be given to PIA‚ Pakistan Railways and steel mills to make them profitable entities.
In an interview‚ he said the prevailing economic situation would be transformed in a year or two as the government was sincere in its efforts to settle all problems of the budget.
He said it was the endeavour of the federal government to improve the situation and the prime minister‚ federal ministers and ministers of state had abolished their discriminatory funds which were about 27 billion.
He said the private sector had to play its role to provide jobs to the people and the government would guarantee their investment and will give them incentives in this regard.
