A 25 years old man drowned in Chongh Canal on Sunday.
According to reports, an unidentified man drowned while taking a bath in the canal.
Rescue teams reached the spot after the call and started an operation, but they could not recover the dead body.
BODY FOUND: Further, another unidentified man’s dead body was recovered from a bag at Data Nagar Bridge in Badami Bagh area. The police said that the body revealed that the victim had been badly tortured. The police shifted the body to Mayo Hospital morgue for post mortem.
ROBBERIES: As per detail, a citizen Kamran was robbed in Nawab Town while returning to his house with his family members.
The report said that robbers stopped them forcibly and took gold, cash and mobile phones from them on gunpoint, successfully escaping from the scene.
Another citizen named Imtiaz was deprived of his valuables in the Sundar Nursery area. Robbers snatched a mobile phone worth Rs 25,000 on gunpoint and fled.
Further, Inam was robbed in Satukatla as two men snatched Rs 9,000 and a mobile phone from him.
