Armed militants killed three policemen in Killa Saifullah district of Balochistan on Sunday.
Police sources told local media that the militants attacked a check post in Muslim Bagh area of Killa Saifullah where three deployed policemen were killed.
The attack was followed by an intense exchange of fire between police and militants and more personnel were called in the area to control the situation.
However, residents of the area said that most of the militants managed to disappear in the nearby mountains.
The incident came just a day after deadly the bombing in Quetta, which claimed 28 lives.
