Country Head of World Bank in Pakistan Rashid Bin Masood called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Friday. Matters of mutual interest and cooperation in education, health and development projects in Punjab were discussed during the meeting. Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz said that Punjab government was focusing on promotion of health and education. He said that funds were being provided to the poor students through Punjab Education Foundation. He said that there was a scope of further expanding cooperation in health and education sectors in Punjab by international monetary institutions. Country Head of World Bank in Pakistan Rashid Bin Masood said that international monetary institutions and donor agencies were interested in extending cooperation in education, health and social development sectors in Punjab.
