A security official was killed and at least eight persons, including two Rangers personnel and two policemen, were injured in two consecutive blasts near a paramilitary force checkpoint in Karachi on Saturday.
The blasts were reported in Katti Pahari area of North Nazimabad.
Police said the first blast was a hand grenade attack on the check post while the second blast was caused by planted explosive material.
