Violence continue to claim innocent lives as eight more people were killed and several others injured in separate incidents of violence in different localities of the city on Thursday. The police and rangers during separate operations also nabbed more than 10 criminals and recovered arms and drugs from their possession.
According to police and rescue sources, two tortured dead bodies were found near Northern Bypass, Gulshan-e-Maymar police station. Both persons were kidnapped and then shot dead, the sources said. Another tortured dead body was found near Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Steel Town police station. A man was gunned down in North Nazimabad. The firing incident also claimed lives in Korangi and SITE Area.
Meanwhile, the police and Rangers during separate raids and operations across the city arrested more than 10 criminals and recovered arms and drugs from their possession. Police said the detainees included criminals involved in incidents of murder, robberies, kidnapping for ransom and mobile snatching.
