The Gulshan Ravi Police gunned down three unidentified men in an encounter near Shibli Town on Thursday.
The police signaled three men on a bike to stop at a police picket set up at Gulshan Ravi. The men fired shots at the police and killed Sub Inspector Mohammad Mushtaq also injuring one constable and fled.
The police gunned down the men after chasing them down near Shibli Town. The injured constable was shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
The police seized three pistols, two daggers and a motorcycle without number plate from the men’s possession. DIG Operations Rai Tahir Hussain, CCPO Shafiq Gujja, SSP Rana Jabbar and DIG Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed reached the spot after hearing the news and probed into the matter.
KIDNAPPED: Three siblings were kidnapped by unidentified men in Icchra on Thursday.
According to the police, Maryam (17), Maham (8) and Muzammal (13) were living with their aunt Ayesha Chaudhry at Shah Din Park, Icchra after the death of their mother. The children left the house on Thursday but did not return. The police have registered a case on the report of Ayesha against unidentified men.
