A woman on Wednesday climbed up an electricity pole near Arfa Karim IT Tower, Ferozepur Road to register her protest against alleged illegal occupation on land in Model Town.
According to reports, the woman, Yasmin, resident of Chohang, has staged such protests and climbed on the poles near Mian Nawaz Sharif house situated at H- Block Model Town thrice in the recent past.
The woman demanded to meet Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif as she said he could solve her problem.
The Rescue teams and CM Compliant Cell Director Basher Ahmed Gondal reached the spot and promised help after which she came down.
