Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday rejected the federal budget of 2013-14, calling deeming it anti-people and announced to hold a series of protests across Punjab.

PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry alleged that the current budget was formulated to provide relief to industrialists and business community and has rather created difficulties for poor people.

He said PTI workers would stage demonstrations in all district headquarters across Punjab from tomorrow.

  1. There is no need to cut down the custom duty on vehicles 1200 cc to 1800 cc. It is a relieve to rich people. Poors have nothing to do with this cut down.

  2. Now that you have the ballot power, use it in the national assembly and not in the streets.
We all know how ugly such protests can be. We need a period of calm rather than confrontation in the streets.

'Federal budget' is a 'fooling game' at best …
A fodder for 'class war' politics …
Scent marking' of the 'regional divide' …
