Pakistani lawyer scores first
Pakistani lawyer Zarrar Sehgal has been declared among the top 10 transportation and aviation finance lawyers in the USA, according to an announcement by Chambers and has been ranked in the prestigious “Band 1”.
Zarrar Sehgal is the first Pakistani to enter the category and the first lawyer in the world of any nationality below the age of forty years to enter the list at Band 1.
Zarrar Sehgal is the Global Head of Transport and Logistics and has extensive experience representing underwriters, lenders, lessors and governmental agencies engaged in a wide variety of asset finance transactions, including portfolio securitizations, acquisition financing, leveraged leasing, EETC transactions, secured lending, structured financing and credit enhancement.
Zarrar is a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum. He serves as an aviation finance lawyer with strong relationships and strong capital markets skills and is also an advisor to several of the large investment and commercial banks. He is also the President of TCF-USA, a non-profit organization affiliated with The Citizens Foundation in Pakistan.
