Four people died in two roof collapse incidents that occurred owing to the dust storm that hit the city on Tuesday.
The roof of a game shop in Bhaghatpura, Shadbagh collapsed killing one child and injuring three others including the game shop owner. As the roof collapsed the children identified as Mateen, Talha and Shahzad along with the shop owner were rushed to Services Hospital where Mateen died.
Separately, three people including two women and a child died when a house roof collapsed due to rain fall in Manga Mandi. The deceased have been identified as Zeenat (60), Aysha (17) and Kiran (6).
The bodies have been handed over to the victims’ heirs after the completion of the standard medical procedure.
We have to prepare our houses according to weather condition. It must be fully equipped to face adverse condition.
