An Israeli newspaper Haaretz has publicized a British government report that makes a startling revelation: Israel exported military equipment over the past five years to Pakistan and four Arab countries, despite the non-existence of diplomatic relations with these countries.

In addition to Pakistan, Israel has exported arms and security equipment to Egypt, Algeria, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco, the report says.

The report deals with British government permits for arms and security equipment exports and was released by Britain’s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

The department oversees security exports and publishes regular reports on permits granted or denied to purchase arms, military equipment or civilian items that are monitored.

Haaretz reported that from January 2008 to December 2012, British authorities processed hundreds of Israeli applications to purchase military items containing British components for use by the Israel Defence Forces, or to go into systems exported to third countries.

The UK government reports also list the countries to which Israel sought to export the items. Among Israel’s clients are countries with which it does not have diplomatic ties.

The report says that in 2011 Israel sought to purchase British components to export radar systems to Pakistan, as well as electronic warfare systems, Head-up Cockpit Displays ‏(HUD‏), parts for fighter jets and aircraft engines, optic target acquisition systems, components of training aircraft, and military electronic systems.

Prior to that, in 2010, Israel applied for permits to export electronic warfare systems and HUDs with components from Britain to Pakistan. Also in 2010, Israel sought permits to supply Egypt and Morocco with Israeli electronic warfare systems and HUD systems that use British parts, the Haaretz said in its report.

In 2009, Israel requested permits from British authorities to process security equipment exports to Algeria, Morocco and the UAE. The exports processing south for Algeria and the UAE also including permits to supply components for drones.

According to the British reports, Israel’s other clients for military exports over the past five years include India, Singapore, Turkey, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Portugal, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Colombia, Holland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Thailand, Macedonia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Switzerland, Ecuador, Mexico, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Equatorial Guyana, Poland and Argentina.

  1. Beware! It seems a new game to confuse a common man at home and offend friends abroad.

  2. So what's new Israhell is supplying weapons to Taliban regularly in Pakistan, Iraq & Syria, in partnership with certain other Middle Eastern countries. The modern day Middle Eastern countries think it's OK to be a friend of Israhell.

  3. So what is wrong in buying what you cannot produce. How selfsufficient are we in weapon production? There is a difference between de facto and de joure. Isreael is a fact whether we like it or not. Whether we have diplomatic ties or not is "de joure" The former President Musharraf recognized both when he shook Peres hand. It was no coincident–Or was it our PM of the day?
Isreal is a year younger than Pakistan and since it's birth it has focussed on advanced technology in every field and has suceeded. It has made deserts bloom. Instesd of villifying it we should admire it and copy it's achiements. The palestinians have recognised it as defacto. Our neighbour alowed the opening of a diplomatic mission many years ago and reaping the benefits of it's not so public relations. Why don't we follow suit. Let us have cat out of the bag!

    • So Doctor, where were all the Jews prior to 1948? Why create a nation in the middle of nations you don't like? Why didn't they ask their sympathisers for a piece of land to create a nation? USA could quite easily provided a state for them to live in? We don't need to buy weapons or anything else from Israhell. All we want is for their secret services to stop meddling in our affairs & creating instability!

      • Please try to understand my comments. We can argue about your point of view till the cows come home. If the Mossad succeeds it is because of our ISI weakness. Where do you propose we buy our weapons from. Even our best friend China buys them from Israel. International relations are complex. I am no friend of Israel but admire it for what it has achieved. I love and admire Pakistan too and wish it was as progressive as Israel.

        • What have the Zionists achieved, killed & displaced millions of Palestinians, it doesn't matter how the Palestinians lived before the occupation. Created instability in many a country, became the unchallenged Pirates of the high seas by attacking peace flotillas. The only shamefull thing is apart from Iran not one so called Muslim country condemns these violaters of peace. In view of above you need to rethink your admiration of this regime.

        • Your views are right. What about buying arms from companies owned by Jews. will it be wrong and how do you know that they are not Jewish owned companies.

      • What I don't understand is what is the problem if Pakistan bought some military equipment from Israel,is it that bad that you are giving us a sermon on history??? Have you ever eat at McDonalds Shan??? guess who owns it?????? my suggestion, stop thinking like its 2000 years ago, this is 2013,jews,muslims,hindus all live together and have no issues,we all have our faiths, but we are people first(GOD's creation)then everything else.

  4. FYI -all prayers for Jews end with a prayer for peace. Jews need a country of their own because world looked away in WWII when genocide took place. God gave land of Israel to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob descendents. I think Syrians and Jordanians have killed thousands more Palestinians than any killed in wars with Israel. Also, it's pronounced Yisroel not the way you Shan Sham spelled name. Would you like it if we called you Pakislamis?

    • Since you seem like a man of God & prayers, please answer why Jews have been persecuted in many a country? Whilst it suited them they were all over the world except Palestine? When the rest of the world really got fed up of them, few Zionist idiots put their heads together & plonked them in the Middle East. Your nonsense comment about Jordan & Syrians killing Palestinians, obviously your limited mentality does not allow you to think that if the Palestinians were not kicked out of their homelands they wouldn't be in any other country!!!!!!!

    • They do seem to be killing Palestinians very peacefully( or should I say piece by piece). The present day israelis are more like devils than Gods chosen people. God is not stupid to promise something that causes hardship and suffering to people.

  5. Jordan killed 10-20 thousand Palestinians in 1970, and thousands are dying in Syria.
Keepers, no body seems to care about that, because they are hated by everyone for rejecting peace offers they have been given.

  6. its points to Israel acting as middle man so if one country cant buy directly from UK or US! They are up for sale from Israel! As Israel has access to all the advance weaponry from the west, its also using its position to reap financial benefits!

  7. agree with Dr Khan, International relations are complex thing, we use our friends to show our international influence and purchase some times to give neutral push against enemy .we have recognized Israel although defacto .

    • Thank you. That is exactly the point i am trying to make but Mr.Shan seems to miss it.

  8. Israel is the 51st maverick state of the USA, equipped with all the latest weapons that USA makes. The tiny state is meant to control the small kingdoms/dictators of Middle East imposed by the west. In case of defeat USA intervenes directly to turn its defeat into victory. Arab Spring my change he scenario.

  9. its not the issue your are buying what you need. but issue is behind in this buying and sailing game. are the weapons/equipment are in safe hands -i mean in hands of state? or we buying the our own death as if these going in the hands of militants than they ultimately will use these all against the innocent public. and for money its not an issue for any one in Pakistan. though i am sorry.
