The National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) and the Karachi Electric Supply Company’s energy conservation department will organise a beach cleaning campaign tomorrow (Tuesday) at 4 pm.
The venue shall be Sea View Clifton. This event shall be a part of the World Environment Day to raise awareness of cleanliness, marine life conservation and protection of marine resources among students.
Various NGOs, Asif Hussain, KESC energy conservation department head, President NFEH Naeem Qureshi, Ghulam Kibriya, Rashid Ansari and others are expected at the occasion. The students will clean 1 km of the coastline and inform the general populations as to the importance of marine life and resources.
