The first federal cabinet meeting has been summoned for today (Monday) by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting would focus on important issues like the federal budget, tackling electricity load shedding, and preparing a strategy for implementing government’s policies.
Sources said Finance Minister Ishaq Dar would brief the cabinet on the national economy and available resources.
The premier has reportedly issued strict directives to cabinet members to avoid by-passing the masses and taking them into confidence over available electricity and other resources.
