At least three personnel of security forces were killed and several others injured after terrorists attacked them in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Sunday.
The first attack was occurred near Razmak when a convoy of security forces was attacked by terrorists with an improvised explosive device (IED). The terrorists also fired two rockets on the convoy.
An official in Miranshah, headquarters of North Waziristan, said three personnel were killed and two others injured. The injured were shifted to a hospital where their condition was said to be in danger.
Security forces started operation, but there is no report of human or property losses.
Security officials also said two personnel were injured after a vehicle carrying security personnel was attacked with an IED on Bannu-Miranshah Road.
Security forces impose curfew in NWA on Sunday in connection with their movement and shifting of the contingents from one to another place.
