Plastic and raw material worth thousands of rupees were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a store in Shahdara on Saturday. On information, rescue teams reached the spot and controlled the fire after hectic efforts. However, no loss of life was reported. Cause behind the fire was stated to be short circuit. Meanwhile, a fire erupted at New Adda, Bund Road as well, where plastic and raw material worth thousands of rupees were burnt. The fire service reached on the spot and controlled the fire. Also, furniture and other valuables worth millions of rupees were burnt when a fire broke out at a house in Chauburji.
