The Meteorological Department on Saturday said that very hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.
According to the Met Department, the country would receive rains later this month.
Dust storms with isolated rain are expected at one or two places of northeast Punjab and Kashmir.
Some of the country parts that will suffer blazing heat include Dadu, Bhakar, Sibi, Thal, Jacobabad, Rohri, Rahimyar Khan, Larkana, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Bannu, Jhang and other parts of Sindh and Punjab where the temperature was recorded between 46-48 degree centigrade on Saturday.
On Friday, the highest temperature was recorded at Daddu and Bhakkar as 48C, Lahore 37C, Multan 39C, Karachi 34C, Islamabad 37C and Quetta 32C.
