Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday appointed Shah Mahmood Qureshi as deputy parliamentary leader of the party.
Talking to reporters, Qureshi said he was thankful to Imran Khan for appointing him as deputy parliamentary leader of the PTI in the National Assembly.
“We should give the federal government a chance to show its performance, before taking it to task,” he added.
To a question, Qureshi said that consultations were underway with Imran Khan regarding formation of cabinet in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that people with good reputation would be inducted in the provincial cabinet so that they could deliver to the people sincerely.
To another question, he said Fauzia Kasuri was an asset for the party.
