Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPPs) President Ameen Fahim on Saturday opposed extension to Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Chaudhry.
He said the government had entered in its initial phase yet and any criticism against it would be illogical, adding that time would tell how much the government backs up from tall claims it made before elections.
Fahim added that they would try to recall the government all promises which the PML-N made before the general elections.
Though the PPP had strong reservations regarding the transparency of the elections but they had accepted everything only for the sake of national interests, he maintained.

The PPPP president said, “It will be unfair to put all responsibility of the past five years over the shoulders of the PPP government because situation of the region were grave and critical when the PPP government assumed the office.”
He said that the PPP would not only criticise the government but would also praise the positive role of the government.
