Private schools not observing summer vacations from June 1 to face closure

The Government has decided to take action against private educational institutions in Islamabad found not observing summer vacation from June, 1.

Ministry of CAD had announced summer vacation for educational institutions from June, 1 but the private educational institutions are still conducting classes

Several reports have emerged in the ministry of CAD about the students who fall victim to the grilling heat wave and have to be shifted to hospitals for first aid.

Parents have complained that summer vacations are not being announced as per orders of the government as the private educational institutions are engaged in extorting extra fees from students and unless their target of hefty collection is met they will not implement government orders for observing summer vacations.

Sources said that ministry of CAD has evolved lists of such private educational institutions and it has issued directives to Private Educational Institution Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) to initiate proceedings against the institutions which have violated government orders for announcing summer vacations from June, 1.

Ministry of CAD said that the private schools found breaching the government orders for observing summer vacations from June, 1 will be sealed and their registration will be cancelled.
