Former president Pervez Musharraf will be ready to face any court if newly-elected Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif supports a high treason case against him, Musharraf’s political adviser said on Wednesday.
“Musharraf is ready to face any court in order to defend himself against the politically motivated cases… [and] a Pakistani soldier never feels threatened by anyone,” said Chauhdry Sarfraz Anjum Kahlon of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).
Speaking to reporters, Kahlon cautioned the incoming government “to exercise political maturity and to think twice before pursuing the emotional path of personal revenge which will ultimately benefit Pakistan’s adversaries”.
He said the pursuit of politically-motivated cases would only set off a dangerous chain of events which had the potential to weaken national institutions and was not in the best interest of the country.
Kahlon also refuted media reports about Musharraf leaving the country. “There is no exit strategy or secret deal to leave the country… [and] Musharraf will continue to reside in the country he has fought for,” he said.
“Musharraf dedicated his life to the state of Pakistan the day he joined the armed forces and he has every right as a Pakistan citizen to live with his people,” Kahlon added.
He is still the only leader in the last 30 years whose character remains above reproach. Unlike the current elected leaders, he did not line his pockets with the funds of the people of Pakistan. Every leader will make errors in hind sight but it is admirable that this gentleman discharged the duties of the Presidency with dignity and honesty. We cannot say that about Mr Sharif or Mr Zardari.

He is also a patriotic soldier of Pakistan and will not run from a fight.
He is top traitor of the country. If hanged Pakistan will be safe for at least another 50 years. Anybody will dare not sell our interest and sovereignty so cheap.
Arain saheb your favourite political leaders have sold our interests and sovereignty a million times over. If you are in your right mind you would not be supporting thieves. Voting for a thief is similar to comitting theft also.

In Pakistan If someone has did some commendable job for the sack of nation, Steel pipe is usually screwed in his portrait in some visual chowks/junction for others to take lesson from it. All actions against him are just personal revenge. One and only one person can't do the stated violation. Tell who other is arrested or trailed along him for the incidents.

Whatever he did in the past, tried his best that can make benefit Pakistan…he is a beloved person…..every government has flaws….We cannot compare or match the character and intelligence of this person with any leader today…He is beyond thinker as compared with them..Think if Pakistan has made much progress after he had gone then we can say that he was not in favour of interests of Citizens and Of Pakistan…..but what was the condition of Pakistan today after his retirement….we can better understand, unfortunatly,the next government forgot their responsibilties…He defended Pakistan at international level..I hope jo ktch bhi ho Pakistan k bhlay kliey ho…Allah give him success.
