The speaker of National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq has ordered an inquiry into the chaos in the media gallery as supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) occupied spaces in the gallery during the session.
As the session stated, supporters of PML-N raised slogans and occupied the media gallery of the assembly.
The situation got worse when a delegation of media persons met the speaker who later went to the media gallery and requested supporters to vacate the gallery.
Ayaz Sadiq said he would inquire how extra passes were issued beyond the capacity of guest galleries.
On a point of order, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said it was the responsibility of the speaker to stop supporters to raise slogans which is against the rule of the Parliament.
