Amidst tight security in Islamabad due to the Prime Minister’s oath taking ceremony, three people were killed on Wednesday when unknown gunmen opened fire on a vehicle in Bani Gala, officials disclosed.
A local jeweler and two security guards were shot dead while three others were wounded. The jeweler was identified as Gulzeb while his guards as Mushtaq and Tufail. The injured persons included the jeweler’s son.
The victims’ bodies were shifted to Polyclinic.
Sources said that the incident was a result of old enmity.
The police have registered a case and started investigations.
