Slain Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Assembly Farid Khan was laid to rest on Tuesday.
Hundreds of people including family members, relatives, activists and leaders of various political and religious parties and dwellers of the area attended the funeral prayers held in Darvezi Palosa area of Hangu.
MPA Farid Khan, along with his driver Ayaz Khan, were shot dead and his brother Shah Nawaz critically injured by miscreants near Shahi Mosque while they were returning home after offering Fateha in the Speena area on Monday evening.
The security forces arrested TTP commander Mufti Hamid, allegedly involved in killing of Farid Khan, besides recovering the Kalashnikov and motorcycle used in the attack.
