Raise your voice against food wastage on World Environment Day

The Climate Change Ministry and International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) would celebrate World Environment Day on Wednesday.

The event has been organized in collaboration with Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), WWF-Pakistan, UNESCO, Pakistan Water Partnership (PWP) and other national and international organizations.

This year’s theme shall be “Think-Eat-Save-Reduce Your Food Print”, aiming at increasing awareness about food wastage and its impact on the developing world.

The venue would be the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), and attendees would include the Climate Change Ministry federal secretary as the chief guest.

The World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5 to raise global awareness about positive environmental action’s need.
