With the approval of the competent authority (chief minister), the government of Sindh law department has notified that the following senior civil judges/assistant sessions judges (BS-19) as per their seniority are promoted to additional district and session judges (BS-20) with effect from date (s) the officers assume the charge of the post: Mr Waseem Ahmed Kourejo, Mr Shafi Muhammad Pirzada, Ms Akhtar Sultana, Qazi Muhammad Naeem Siddiqui, Mr Abdul Rahman Qazi, Mr Asim Jamil Memon, Mr Arshad Murtaza, Mr Abdul Qudoos Memon, Mr Fareed Anwer Qazi, Mr Ghulam Mustafa Leghari, Mr Zahoor Ahmed Hakro, Syed Sharafuddin Shah, Ms Naseem Akhtar, Mr Jamshed Ali Awan, Ms Naushaba Kazi, Mr Zahid Hussain Maitlo, Mr Iqbal Hussain Maitlo and Mr Shaikh Intisar Yousuf.
In another notification, the law department has notified that the following civil judges and judicial magistrates (BS-18) as per their seniority are promoted as senior civil judge and assistant sessions judges (BS-19) with effect from the date (s) the officers assume the charge of the post:
Mr Anwar Ahmed Memon, Mr Mashooque Ali Palijo, Mr Muhammad Ayoob Bhatti, Syed Muhammad Shakeel, Mr Maqbool Ahmed Memon, Mr Malik Muhammad Akhtar, Mr Abdul Rahim Chandio, Mr Muhammad Yaseen, Mr Inayatullah Bhutto, Ms Fateh Mubeen Nizam, Mr Nadeem Badar Qazi, Ms Ailya Anwaer, Ms Zabiha Khatak, Mr Shamsuddin Junejo, Mr Niaz Hussain, Mr Hafiz-ur-Rahman, Mr Abdul Sattar Soomro, Mr Ilimuddin, Mr Abdul Hakeem, Mr Amjad Soomro, Mr Abdul Haque Mangrio, Mr Altaf Hussain Dayo, Mr Muhammad Islam-ul-Haque, Mr Sohrab Khan Brohi, Mr Shahid Ali Memon, Mr Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh and Mr Muhammad Jahangir Khan.
