Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch on Tuesday urged Nawaz Sharif to play a role in stopping drone attacks.
Talking to journalists after the inaugural ceremony of a seminary, he said it looked strange that the PML-N leader was asking President Asif Zardari to help stop drone attacks. He said Nawaz should start diplomacy in this regard and should not overlook it like previous rulers of the country. “If the upcoming government compromises over drones, it will meet the fate of the PPP in the next general election,” he added.
He advised the KP government to resolve public issues besides improving infrastructure and erasing corruption.
