‘If it be leadership’s will, we could go hand in hand’

Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) Parliamentary Party leader in the Punjab Assembly Moonis Elahi has said that the People’s Party has disappointed by not voting for opposition candidates in the elections of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.

He said this while talking to the journalists along with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader Mahmudur Rashid after the session of the Punjab Assembly on Saturday afternoon. On this occasion, Sardar Waqas Hassan Mokal, Aamer Sultan Cheema, Sardar Asif Nakai, Pir Ahmad Shah Khagga and Sameena Khawar Hayat were also present.

Moonis Elahi said PML-Q and PTI had jointly contested the elections of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker result of which was before everyone. He said if the leadership decides they could move together inside and outside the assembly on all issues including the coming local bodies’ polls.
