Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry has advised all additional chief secretaries, secretaries and head of the departments to ensure coordinated efforts and liaising amongst themselves for getting all the issues resolved for effective implementation and rapid completion of development projects.
He said this while presiding over a meeting to review various ongoing projects including SZABE (Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Expressway), with specific reference to land acquisition, from Gharo to Dhandhri and Shah Bunder (Thatta).
Zulfiqarabad Development Authority (ZDA) MD Lt General (r) Iftikhar Hussain to a question said that the master plan is in progress for smooth functioning of the development projects.
Considering the legal significance of all the development projects, Chaudhry asked the Consultant BOR Nazeer Muhammad Leghari to submit a line of action to be vetted through the law department for approval of the competent authority to ascertain the expeditious completion of the project.
The Hyderabad commissioner, Thatta DC and ZDA project director also attended the meeting.
