Shahbaz Sharif officially nominated as leader of Punjab Assembly

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday unanimously endorsed the nomination of Shahbaz Sharif as leader of the House in the Punjab Assembly.

A resolution was moved by Rana Sanaullah at a meeting of the PML-N parliamentary committee which was unanimously approved.

Later‚ addressing the parliamentary party meeting, Shahbaz said all possible measures would be taken to overcome energy crisis and provide relief to the people.

Shahbaz added that the new government would work on a comprehensive plan to revive the national economy which he said had been destroyed due to massive corruption.

Shahbaz Sharif further said, “We will serve the masses with humility and change the culture of Thana and Patwaris to facilitate the people.”

He said people will be provided justice at their doorsteps.

Moreover, he said that the previous government looted national resources in the name of democracy and the condition of the common man went from being bad to worse in their tenure.

He said that the public had rejected the leaders of the previous government and had expressed their confidence in the PML-N.
