Former Punjab Assembly (PA) speaker Rana Muhamamd Iqbal Khan on Sunday submitted nomination papers for re-election as speaker of the same legislature, following his nomination for the slot by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Sardar Ali Sher Gorchani has been nominated as his deputy.
The election for speaker and deputy speaker of the Punjab Assembly will be held on June 3 at 05:30 pm during the assembly session.
