Caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Monday appointed Dr. Saadia Sarwar as prime minister’s Polio Monitoring Cell’s focal person.
The decision was in continuation of the prime minister’s decision on Sunday to restore the Polio Monitoring Cell at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Khoso also directed that the cell should start functioning and hoped that honest and dedicated people would be brought onboard to achieve a polio free Pakistan.
Reiterating his government’s resolve towards fighting polio, the prime minister was optimistic that the cell would play an important role in achieving this national objective.
