Imran breaks silence on PTI women’s seat controversy

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday spoke out about a controversy regarding PTI’s women elected to the National Assembly (NA) on reserved seats.
PTI leader Fauzia Kasuri was dejected for not being among those who made it to the parliament on reserved seats.
She publicly vented her anger on twitter, igniting a heated debate among PTI leaders and supporters.
Khan finally broke his silence on the issue when he tweeted, “the senseless controversy over women reserved seats must end. The two who made it from Punjab have come on merit.”
“Dr Mazari highly qualified & rooted in a strong ideological commit 2 PTI’s vision & Munaza Hassan won the WW elections! Merited 1&2 on list,” he wrote.
