The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) immigration officials detained 15 passengers and a travel agent leaving for Saudi Arabia for performing umrah here on Sunday.
According to FIA Immigration Assistant Director Sohail Fiaz, the officials during interrogation at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport nabbed 15 passengers who were leaving for Saudi Arabia for employment on umrah visa through a private airline flight.
On information provided by detainees, the officials also arrested a travel agent identified as Khursheed Shah. The detainees belong to interior Sindh and different cities of Punjab. The travel agent is being interrogated and important revelations are also expected.
