Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday asked the United States (US) to review its policy on drone attacks as it was affecting Pakistan’s sovereignty while talking to the media outside the Parliament House.
He said President Obama in a recent speech had stated that the US respected the sovereignty of other countries adding, “We are hopeful that the US will respect our sovereignty.”
“Solving the energy crisis, reviving the economy and improving the law and order situation across the country are our top priorities,” he said.
Iqbal declared that the new government would create a conducive atmosphere for international investors. He said that the PML-N was coming into power at a time when the country was facing severe economic challenges and they would overcome the, because of their sincere intentions towards the country’s wellbeing.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the country voted for PML-N due to its performance and added that in the future, people would continue electing their representatives for the same reasons.
