At least six persons were killed and five others sustained severe injuries in a road accident at Grand Trunk (GT) Road, close to Jehlum, on Saturday.
According to media reports, a bus was heading to Lahore when it overturned owing to over speeding, killing six persons as a result.
Five others sustained severe injuries. The bus driver and conductor managed to escape from the scene.
Upon receiving information, rescue personnel and local people reached the spot and moved the injured to a hospital for medical aid.
Police registered a case and started search for those responsible.
