Measles perks up its CV with two more lives

It appears that measles is not all scared of the Punjab government’s efforts against it. The epidemic killed two more children on Thursday raising the total death toll in Punjab to 122. According to details, two girls Anam and Saira aged one and half year each from Sanda Kalan and Muridke respectively, expired in Ganga Ram and Mayo hospitals.
It should be mentioned that 14,823 measles cases in Punjab have been reported so far. The metropolitan has been affected the most. During the previous 24 hours 216 cases have been reported across the province of which 49 are from Lahore.
