Politicians should work on a unified vision

Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that all political leaders will work with a unified vision to overcome the challenges being faced by the country including that of terrorism and extremism.
The governor was talking to participants of Gunnery Officers Staff Course of Pakistan Army who called on Sindh Governor at the Governor House, says a statement issued on Thursday.
He was of the view that they can successfully face these challenges by working in the right direction. He also lauded the services of Pakistan Army during natural calamities in the country, especially during floods in the province of Sindh, and said the nation appreciates these contributions.
Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad said Pakistan is a frontline state in the fight against terror and suffered losses the most. On the occasion, he also appealed to the political parties that after the culmination of the electoral process they should remove party flags and instead hoist the national flags so that the one identity of the nation should come to the fore.
He said during the past five years full attention was paid towards the betterment in the health and education sectors. Khan said the performance of the police could be improved by providing them with modern technology and weapons.
He also called for fostering the system of community policing in the metropolis. The incharge of the Course, Maj Gen Muhammad Irshad, lauded the services of Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan.
