KSE soars to another new high

Bullish trends continued at the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Thursday as further investment, mainly in the lowest scrips, added 150 more points to the benchmark KSE-100-share Index, pushing it further up to hit a new record at 21,591 points. The local equities market remained upbeat for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday, as the major index soared to a new high, unprecedented in the capital market history of Pakistan. The trade volume was registered at 640 million shares, for the first time in seven years.
