Caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Thursday submitted his reply to the contempt of court notice regarding transfer of officials, saying he had withdrawn all such orders and regretted the decision.
Khoso said he took the step as he had great respect for the judiciary and could not even imagine violation of rules and regulations enunciated by the courts.
The prime minister made it clear that he had recognised the Anita Turab Case verdict in its true spirit.
He argued that he had taken decisions in order to arrange fair and transparent elections. “If these orders are against the spirit of law, he has no repression over taking those decisions back.”
A three-judge bench of the SC had issued contempt of court notices to the caretaker PM, his personal secretary and establishment secretary for making transfers in violation of judgments of the apex court in this regard.
“Indeed Election Commission’s orders dated April 2 were the root cause and origin of issuance of these orders which led this court to contemplate action in this case. The answering respondent PM regrets having issued them most inadvertently and with no intention to cause offence either by design or even remotely,” the written reply filed by the PM said.
The bench headed by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and comprising of Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Ejaz Afzal is to take up the case on June 6.

  1. This is hillarious. Nobody has any respect for these joker judges. Everyone violates their orders and then when given a contempt notice they declare that they have tremendous amount of respect for the judges and apologize. Lets be real. These judges carry less respect than my dog. They have brought it out on themselves by being biased and incompetent. These judges are on a ego trip. Their dead bodies will be dragged in the streets one day.
